Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, profile picture, and other information you provide to set up your profile.
Event and Social Data
We collect information about events you create, attend, or interact with, as well as your group memberships, messages, and social interactions within the platform.
Usage Information
We automatically collect information about how you use our service, including pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform.
This summary follows Google Play’s Data Safety taxonomy. For each data type we list whether it’s collected, why, and whether it’s optional.

Security commitments:
- All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS / TLS 1.2+.
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.

With Other Users
Your profile information, events, and group activities may be visible to other users based on your privacy settings. Event organizers can see attendee information for their events.

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our platform, such as payment processors, email services, and hosting providers.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or to ensure user safety and platform security.

Sked7 relies on the following third-party service providers. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.
- Abacus.AI — application hosting and infrastructure.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) — storage for user-uploaded images.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, DDoS protection and TLS termination.
- Google Sign-In (OAuth) — optional authentication. We receive only your name, email and profile picture from Google if you choose this option.
- Google Fonts — loads typography. No personal data is exchanged.
- Email notification provider — delivers transactional emails (password resets, event invitations, notifications).
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, strictly for core functionality:
- Authentication cookies — keep you signed in (NextAuth session).
- Profile-completion cookie — remembers whether you’ve completed onboarding.
- Theme / preferences — stored in your browser’s
localStorage(for example, dark mode). - Service worker — caches images and provides offline support for the installed PWA.
- Push notification tokens — stored only after you explicitly grant permission.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking.
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal data. You can exercise any of these by submitting an inquiry.

We respond to verified rights requests within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA).
You can delete your Sked7 account and associated personal data at any time. There are two ways:
- From inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account.
- By email: submit a deletion request through our contact form.

Sked7 is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Users aged 13–17 may use Sked7 only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and only in jurisdictions where that is permitted by law.
Age-restricted content: Some public events on Sked7 are flagged as 18+ (e.g., events where alcohol is present, or with adult content). These events are automatically hidden from users under 18, based on the date of birth provided at signup. Event organizers are responsible for accurately setting age restrictions on their events.
Security Measures
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits to protect your personal information.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request data deletion at any time.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.
