By accessing, browsing, or using Sched7 (the "Platform"), including creating an account, creating or joining events, or interacting with other users, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Your continued use of Sched7 after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sched7 ("we," "us," or "our").

  • Communicate with other attendees and organizers

Sched7 is a technology platform and coordination tool only. We provide the software infrastructure that enables users to organize and find social gatherings. We are not an event organizer, venue provider, entertainment company, or social service.

3. No Hosting / No Sponsorship / No Supervision

Sched7 does not host, sponsor, supervise, manage, direct, control, or take responsibility for any events listed on the Platform.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • All events are created, organized, and managed entirely by individual users ("Organizers"), not by Sched7.

4. User Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily use Sched7 and attend events at your own risk. By using the Platform to create, promote, discover, join, or attend any event, you acknowledge, accept, and assume all risks associated with:

  • Meeting or interacting with other users, whether online or in person
  • Traveling to and from any event location
  • Participating in any activity at or related to an event
  • Any injury, illness, property damage, theft, financial loss, or harm of any kind

Any interactions, agreements, transactions, or disputes between you and other users (including event organizers, attendees, and third-party service providers) are solely between the involved parties.

  • Sched7 is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any user.
  • Sched7 is not a mediator, arbitrator, or guarantor of any user interaction.
  • Any costs, expenses, or obligations incurred through user interactions are your sole responsibility.
  • If a dispute arises between you and another user, you release Sched7 from all claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising from such dispute.
6. Age Requirements

By creating a Sched7 account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 16 years of age. Persons under 16 may not create accounts or use the Platform.
  • Events involving alcohol or designated as 21+ require attendees to be at least 21 years old.
  • Events involving profanity, adult themes, or recreational drug references require attendees to be at least 18 years old.

If you attempt to join an event for which you do not meet the age requirement, you will see: "Sorry, you are not of age to join this event."

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you meet all age requirements for events you join. Misrepresenting your age is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

7. Safety Guidelines

While Sched7 cannot guarantee your safety, we strongly encourage all users to take the following precautions:

  • Meet in public places for first-time meetups. Choose well-lit, populated venues.
  • Tell someone — let a friend or family member know where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you expect to be back.
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave immediately. Your safety is more important than being polite.
  • Protect your personal information — do not share your home address, financial details, or other sensitive information with people you've just met.
  • Arrange your own transportation — drive yourself or use rideshare so you can leave whenever you choose.
  • Report suspicious behavior — use the in-app reporting feature to flag any user or event that makes you uncomfortable.
  • Stay sober and alert — especially at first-time meetups, be aware of your surroundings and consumption.

These guidelines are recommendations, not guarantees. Sched7 is not responsible for your personal safety. You are solely responsible for exercising good judgment when interacting with other users.

8. Event Organizer Responsibilities

If you create an event on Sched7 ("Organizer"), you acknowledge and accept the following responsibilities:

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all event details, including date, time, location, description, and any age or content restrictions.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your event complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including permit requirements, occupancy limits, noise ordinances, and alcohol regulations.
  • You are responsible for the safety and welfare of attendees to the extent that you control the event environment.
  • You must accurately set age restrictions and content flags (alcohol, profanity, adult themes) on your events.
  • You must not create events that are fraudulent, misleading, illegal, or intended to harm others.
  • Sched7 is not a co-organizer, co-host, or partner in any event you create.
