The largest one-day festival in Virginia! Carytown's famous Watermelon Festival takes over a mile of Cary Street with watermelon eating contests, seed spitting competitions, live music on multiple stages, 100+ food and craft vendors, street performers, and free watermelon for everyone. A Richmond summer tradition since 1984!
